Terry's journalism experience is extensive, beginning in 1968 as a radio anchor and reporter in Dallas, Texas. He moved to television journalism in Lubbock, Texas as an anchor/reporter and made his first Utah appearance in 1971. After jobs in New Orleans and Atlanta, Wood couldn't pass up the opportunity to return to Utah when given the chance.

An active member of the community, Terry Wood is a past president of The Easter Seals Society of Utah, Tree Utah, the Dance Theater Coalition, and has served on the Board of Directors for the Mesa Foundation and the National Board of Directors for Easter Seals.

Terry comes to ABC 4 after working at other stations in the Salt Lake area. He says, "It's truly exciting to move to a station with new owners who are making many positive changes. The ABC 4 News team has placed itself on the cutting edge of broadcast journalism. I am thrilled to be a part of this newsroom."
